The Professional Installations story begins back in 2009, with founder Martyn and Kitchen Mania, our sister company. Kitchen Mania wanted to challenge the way things were being done, with a focus on providing the best kitchen design, production and installation. They brought Martyn on board to set up the logistics and installation side, which quickly grew from a couple of kitchens a week to fifteen.
Martyn soon began offering his customers a full project management experience, taking responsibility for the whole process and all the tradespeople involved. This was the beginning of Professional Installations, and we’ve been at it ever since - giving people the complete confidence and peace of mind they need to go ahead with their projects.
From removal, electricals and specialty flooring to liaising with your kitchen company and every tradie along the way, our job is to make yours easy. Our customers keep coming back, too, so we must be doing something right.
These days, it’s not just kitchens. We build beautiful bathrooms and manage seamless interior renovations.

Martyn Barriball
Managing Director
Martyn founded Professional Installations in 2009 and has been managing seamless kitchen, bathroom and home renovations ever since. Martyn is a down to earth, friendly and honest guy with a large network of trades to manage any residential project. Martyn's communications skills are second to none and he loves forming relationships with his clients.
Martyn is a serious weekend golfer, and there isn't much that will stop him from teeing off on a Saturday morning at Muriwai. Martyn is a keen cricket supporter and on the weekends you'll find him out and about with his family supporting their favourite team.
Tyler Nel
Auckland Regional Manager
In 2016, Tyler came on board, bringing a background in architecture and design and a passion for problem solving. Tyler has helped to build up solid relationships with trustworthy tradespeople who are the best at what they do. Tyler manages seamless projects and takes great pride in forming close relationships with his clients and communicating with them throughout the entire process. Tyler enjoys working closely with customers and their families to help them through the renovation process, big or small. He loves that no two days are the same and he loves the challenge of a problem to solve!
Tyler is a keen golfer. If he's not playing golf, in his spare time you'll find him tinkering in the shed, fixing and making things.
Chantz Wilson-Harding
Project Manager
In 2021, Chantz joined the team with a strong background in architecture and design, along with hands-on experience in structural steel fabrication. He brings a keen eye for detail and a natural talent for problem solving, helping clients’ kitchen designs come to life exactly as envisioned. Chantz is known for his calm communication style, his thoughtful approach to challenges, and his commitment to delivering a seamless experience from start to finish. He takes great pride in seeing the joy on clients’ faces when a project comes together and values the relationships built along the way.
Outside of work, Chantz is an active field hockey player and a keen golfer. When he’s not on the turf or the course, you’ll likely find him in the garden, enjoying time outdoors.
BK Day
Project Manger
BK brings 25 years of experience as an educator to her role as Project Manager at Professional Installations. Starting in 2022 as a laborer with one of our builders, she spent three years learning the renovation process before transitioning into Project Management in 2025.BK's strengths lie in organization, communication, and ensuring every client feels supported throughout their renovation journey. She has a keen eye for design and color and is committed to going above and beyond for her clients from project initiation to completion.
Outside of work, BK enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and pets, and is dedicated to charity work for Breast Cancer awareness.
